An index to fols. 4-end is on fol. 3v;

(fol. 1) '... Versus de regimine sanitatis', known also as 'Schola Salernitana', but only 104 lines: followed by 'Plura problemata', 36 riddles in verse: beg. 'Me uariando nirais.' The writing on fols. 1-3 may be slightly later than the rest;

(fol. 4) Works by Albertanus Brixiensis:

'... De amore Dei et proximi ... et de forma vite ...';

(fol. 43v) '... Liber consolation is et consilij ...', composed according to the colophon in April and May, 1244, not 1246: it was on an adaptation of this work that Chaucer based his Tale of Melibe;

(fol. 64) '... Liber de doctrina et modo dicendi et tacendi ...', composed according to the colophon in 1245.

The volume is badly mutilated, two leaves being lost after fol. 79, four after 88, one after 98, two after 124, one after 143, four after 152, ten after 156, three after 158, and some at end.

In the 16th century the MS. was 'Z. a. 18' in the monastery 'Sancti Bernardini Burginoui' (Borgo San Bernardino near Piacenza): then E. 20 in the same, and perhaps 'S. 26' and 'iv. 2. 33.'.
