Ristretto delle Casate e Famiglie Florentine, antiche e moderne ...': an alphabetical list of Florentine families who have held office, showing the earliest date of office, number of Gonfalonieri, Priori, and Senatori of each family up to 1596, with short notes. Under the first two letters of each name the arrangement is chronological, in two lists, and the volume will fortunately serve as an index to MS. Ital. b. 2. At fol. 89 is a list, with some details, of the 48 Senatori who were such on 'Jan. 18, 1596', i.e. 1596/7.
