Italian and Latin pieces, many of which are connected with Reggio in Lombardy, made up of nine MSS.:
(fol. 1) '[L'Arsinda, tragedia] del ... Fulvio Testi, ridotta ad uso di Teatro ...'.
(fol. 49) 'L'Avaro, comedia', based on Molière's Avare.
(fol. 104) 'Canzoniere del canonaco conte Francesco Ottavio Crispi, MS. Orig.', poems, almost all in Latin: the first is on a new theatre at Reggio, others are on scriptural and pastoral subjects. There is an index on fol. 188a, but four leaves are lost after fol. 162.
(fol. 191) Gismonda, a tragedy by Girolamo (Silvano) Razzi.
(fol. 214) L'Avarizia, a comedy by Girolamo Gigli. Fols. 214-430b were once pp. 143-580 of another volume. At fol. 290v follow a sentence of death on Count Giovanni Battista Nogarola, Sept. 23, 1763, a letter from Mari Antonio Nogarola about it (fol. 294v), and a declaration of L. F. de La Motte, bp. of Orleans, about injustice done to the Jesuits, Feb. 10, 1764 (fol. 297v).
(fol. 307) An account of the Conclave of 1758 in which Clement xiii (Carlo Rezzonico) was made pope: followed by short pieces, among which are an account of the Prussian Court in 1753 (fol. 357v) and a declaration and letter of Voltaire, both of 1753 (fols. 365, 366).
(fol. 376) The Facetie of Poggio, in Latin: followed at fol. 407v by some short pieces.
(fol. 431) Life of Brandano (Bartomeo Caroli, d. 1554).
(fol. 477) Life of Girolamo Curti, by count Carlo Cesare Malvasia, copied by Sigismondo Suzari of Reggio in 1764: followed by a few short pieces.
