In the 17th century the volume was 'Codice lxxxxvii' in the library of 'M. G.' whose arms were a plain cross

Summary

A school treatise on Logic, beg. 'Transcendentia sunt sex. Ens, Aliquid.' At fol. 51 is a short supplementary treatise, 'Tractatus sensus compositi & diuisi', written for Petrus de Guiditionibus. Where the MS. ends imperfect, Codrus Aretinus has supplied the defect, signing 'Finis per me Codrum Aretinum Marescottorum preceptor[em] die xxij mensis Septembris 1488.'.

On fol. 56 (which like fol. 1 is a palimpsest of no value) is 'Questa Logiccha e del pouero Codro Brentadore', who may be the Antonio Urceo, surnamed Codro, who according to the Libri Catalogue was a professor at Bologna 1480-1500. In the 17th cent. the volume was 'Codice Ixxxxvii' in the library of 'M. G.' whose arms were a plain cross.
