Summary
"This booke was written by Stephen Browne, a dark in the Crowne office in Chauncerie, who served in that office 36 yeres, and gaue it me 3 Aprill, 1604. G. Coppinger." The first 31 leaves are wanting. At the end are added copies of other writs by another hand.
On fol. 270b is a note that George Browne and Margaret Gardener were married 29 Oct 1538, and that Stephen Browne was christened 25 Feb 1541. On fols. 274b–275 are memoranda of fees received in 1566–1574.
