Summary

File, compiled by Clark Kerr, on the estate of Ekatarina Miklouho-Maclay, the mother of Margaret Emma Robertson's (Kate Louisa Robertson's sister's) husband, the Russian explorer, ethnologist, anthropologist and biologist Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay, and the inheritance battle between the Miklouho-Maclays in Australia and relations in Russia, containing copies of documents 1908-1909, and later photocopies of correspondence, 1908-1910, relating to the matter which were sent [to Lois Lady Lewthwaite, nee Kerr Clark] by a Maclay descendent in Australia. Also includes one letter from Margaret Miklouho-Maclay to Clark Kerr, 1925, and newsletters of the Miklouho-Maclay Society of Australia, 1980-1988.
