Summary
MS. Ella 160. (i) undated letter from Ella to a Herr Buckhardt in London, sent from Moccas Court in Herefordshire; (ii) letter from the librarian of the Royal College of Music to John Ravell, dated 21 May 1953, in which the Ella-Burkhardt letter is donated to Ravell, with envelope and blank sheet of RCM notepaper. Added to the collection at a later date.
MS. Ella 161. Letter from Ella to William Watts, postmarked 1827, regarding arrangements for a music party. Purchased and added to the collection by Christina Bashford in 2003.
MS. Ella 162. Copy (in Ella's hand) of a letter from Ella to the South Kensington Museum, dated 7 Aug 1868, concerning the donation of the Musical Union Institute library. Found among John Ravell's research notes and added to the collection in 2003. Previously numbered 163.
