Summary
Hodgkin did not attend this conference, but attempted to organise a special session of the Pugwash Conference in Ghana, in order to attract Chinese scientists in view of the special relations which then existed between China and Ghana. Plans for this were cancelled, however, after the fall of the government of Kwame Nkrumah.
