Folder 1: 'Africa'. Papers relating to a scientific trip by Walter and Julia Bodmer to the Mbaiki region under the direction of Professor Cavalli-Sforza. The aim of the mission was to undertake genetic study of pygmy populations and was supported by WHO as part of International Biological Programme
Folder 2: 'Europe 1968'. Travel papers and purchase requisitions
Folder 3: Correspondence regarding European trips undertaken by the Bodmers to carry out research into leukocyte testing. Also contains papers relating to the Third International Workshop and Conference on Histocompatibility Testing held in Torino, 1967
