Pächt and Alexander) 16th century, Italian: wood boards, reddish-brown leather with blind stamps in roll-like pattern; gilt edges, faintly gauffered; traces of two strap-and-pin clasps and (metal?) centrepieces with ?papal crossed keys, all lost; spine with original blind stamps, later enhanced (18th century, Italian) with gilt lines and a gilt green-leather label. 338 234 c. 43–45 (book closed). Uniformly bound and enhanced with MS. Canon. Bibl. Lat. 28.
