Summary
File 1, fols. 1-109: Letters from Duckworth to his family in Cheltenham, chiefly to his father, 1931, 1933 and 1936-1938. They are similar in content to the entries in his diaries.
File 2, fols. 1-11: Letters from his mother and two photographs, 1941-1943.
File 2, fols. 12-16: Letters and two telegrams from his sister, Gladys Duckworth, about his mother's illness, 20-24 May 1947.
File 3, fols. 1-20: Letters to his sister, Gladys, who acted as Honorary Assistant Editor and Advertising Manager for Nigeria which from no. 14 onwards was printed in Cheltenham by Cheltenham Press, 1947-1952.
