'Explicit missale … Sub anno domino Mº.ccccº.xxxvjº. die vij mensis Januarij. Per me Wy. Esser (?). Deo gratias.' (fol. 288). Not noticed in Watson, Dated and datable manuscripts in Oxford libraries.

Though the manuscript was written in 1436 during the pontificate of Eugene IV, the Bidding Prayers on Good Friday (102v) mentions a pope B, i.e. either Benedict VIII (Sept.-Oct. 1394) or Boniface IX (1389–1404), and the emperor S[igismund], (d. 1436), while the Exultet (111) includes the invocation for a pope M., who was Martin V, 1417–31.

Perhaps written for the Benedictine monastery of San Zeno. Both the monastic and Verona origin are sufficiently clear from the kalendar: 21 March and 11 July; see 10 February, 29 April, 20 August, 23 March, 12 April, 22–3 May, 8 December; see 7 January, 1 May, 14–6 May, etc.
