Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Peterhouse (Collegium Sancti Petri): 'Ego Rogerus Marchalle arcium medicineque doctor regum medicus ac huius celeberrimi collegii sancti Petri nuper socius lego librum istum perspectiue Witelonis collegio predicto, anno domini 1472 o prima die Ianuarii' (second flyleaf recto). Identifiable in the medieval catalogue, among the list of accessions from Roger Marshall dated 1472. (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
Roger Marchall (d. 1477), fellow of Peterhouse, physician. John Dee (1527–1609), mathematician, astrologer, and antiquary. Given to Dee in 1564 by the fellows of Peterhouse, in exhange for various printed books that he had given to their library (see his note at foot of first page). P. Saunders 1606 a Domino Hypsly (cf. Ashmole 1471). Elias Ashmole (1617–1692), astrologer and antiquary. (MLGB3)
