Folder 1: Personal documents and certificates including photocopies, and an English translation of, Hildburg Braun's birth certificate Berlin, 1910; Ahnenpass ('ancestor passport', official certificate of ancestry attesting Aryan lineage), c. 1937 with some later additions by Thomas Braun; visiting card; certificate of good conduct and medical certificate obtained for emigration to UK, 1938; job references from Gerrards Cross Child Refugee Aid Committee, 1939; photocopy of Einbürgerungsurkunde (certificate of re-naturalisation) Federal Republic of Germany, 1962. Also includes 'Ärztliches Zeugnis' (medical certificate) for Thomas Braun, 1938.
Folder 2: National Registration Identity Card, 1947; British passports, 1949, 1959, 1969 and 1979; NHS Medical Card, 1988. Also contains Saga life membership card, 1981.
