(fols. 1-10) Op. 1, 10 unison and two-part songs, words by Christina Rossetti, printed in 1954. Nos. 1-5.

(fols. 11-46) Op. 2. 'By Footpath and Stile', 6 poems by Hardy set for baritone and string quartet. Two of the printed copies, 1925, with professional manuscript copies of nos. I and III revised in 1941 and 1940.

(fols. 47-54) Op. 5. 3 short elegies, words by William Drummond, for unaccompanied SATB. Dated 1926, printed in 1936.

(fols. 56-72) Op. 7. New-Year music, for full orchestra. Full score by his pupil Antony Scott, annotated by Gerald Finzi; used by the printers, 1950. Hired out by Boosey and Hawkes.

(fols. 73-79) Op. 7. Piano duet version. Autograph.

(fols. 81-95) Op. 8. Dies Natalis. Poems by Traherne set for solo voice and string orchestra, version with piano. Printed in 1939. [See also MS. Mus. c. 381].
