Summary

Some original returns of Roman Catholics in Middlesex in 1714, almost entirely relating to the West and West Central parts of London. At fol. 8 is the original commission for the purpose issued by the Privy Council to the lord lieutenant of Middlesex on July 30, 1714; and at fol. 6 is a similar printed commission issued and signed by the deputy lieutenants of the county on March 4, 1700/1.
