Provenance
John Lowe , given to the library of the Convent of Augustinian friars in London , 15th cent. The bifolium in B.M Add. 34652 mentioned below has the inscription (fol.11) ‘Liber epistolarum Sidonii’ (14th cent.) and ‘Pro nova libraria London per me fratrem Johannem Lowe’ (15th cent.). This refers to the library of the Convent of Augustinian friars at London, which was built and furnished according to Leland (Collectanea IV.54) by John Lowe, bp. of St. Asaph 1437–44, and of Rochester 1444–67.
