The compiler seems to have been dr. Edw. Yardley, archdeacon of Cardigan (d. 1769 or 1770). At fols. iv, iiv, iiiv, vv are drawings of Bishop's Court, Peel Castle, Castel Rushin, and a map of the island: among the papers at end are a pedigree of the Stanley family, 1500-1735 (fol. 66v), and a letter from dr. Francis Stoughton Sullivan about the Manx language, 3 Jan. 1764 (fol. 77).
