Summary
Geometrical and fancy diagrams and drawings by John Dight, son of a bookseller at Exeter, a deaf and dumb man, of whom an account by a nephew occupies fols, iv-xii: his birth would appear to have been between about 1600 and 1615, and his nephew wrote in Charles II's time. The volume exhibits some ingenuity and skill in drawing: the writer's name occurs on fols. 1, 319.

Custodial history
This volume was no. 276 in the Wood Collection at the Ashmolean in about 1760, but was missing in 1860, and so may have found its way to the Bodleian between those periods, especially as the writer of the account of Dight intended it to be placed in 'the publick library' (at Oxford?).
See MS. Ash. Mus. d. 1.
