The leaves have been removed from the binder in which they were kept by Flecker but have been retained in their original order. Contents include:
(fols. 1-33) notes for examinations in Turkish history and law
(fols. 34-39) a complete draft and a fragment of the preface to The Golden Journey to Samarkand
(fols. 40v-45r) drafts of published and unpublished poems
(fols. 46v-45r rev.) an unidentified lyrical prose fragment.
Fols. 1v-5r, 16v-19r, 28-29r, 30v-35r, 69v-70r were first collected in The Golden Journey to Samarkand.
