According to the commentator, he has read and commented on the book of Mughnī al-labīb during his several years of residence in the city of Nahrvālah of India, currently known as Aḥmadābād, by the order of Aḥmad Shāh ibn Muḥammad Shāh ibn Muẓaffar Shāh.
