Reddish notebook containing Celia's journal for 'Bruges and Walcheren 1907'. With a label by Theresa Whistler reading 'Illustrated Journal (delightful) Celia Newbolt, abt 16 yrs old, First holiday abroad'. Illustrated with 12 postcards and six drawings by Celia
Canvas-covered journal covering 'Paris - Pisa - Bagni di Lucca - Capri etc', 1913. Contains Celia's account of the Oct holiday with Ella Coltman and Una Shaw Stewart, just after Ralph proposed and she accepted him. Illustrated with 19 postcards
Small brown hardback with canvas spine, Celia's Camping Book, a pencil journal starting with her and Ralph's respective lists of what to take with them, otherwise written by Celia. She has numbered the pages and provides an Index at the back listing their four 'honeymoons' (nos. 2-4 during his leaves from France): Exmoor, Jun 1914 [the first official honeymoon]; Corfe, Sep 1917; Corfe, Mar 1918; Woody Bay, Sep 1918
Small dark green book containing Celia's Moroccan journal, 1924, with loose sheets including Ralph's outline of the trip; otherwise written by Celia (list of wildflowers at the back)
