Gough wrote on fol. 2 'MS. papers relative to Grecian History, by Dr. Taylor of St. Johns c. Camb., purchast at the sale of Dr. Askews library [lot 361] by Mr. Bearcroft for 7s. 6d. & at his sale June 1797 by R. G[ough].' In the Gough sale 1810 the volume was sold for 9s. 6d.
