Nicholson attended the International Congress on Mediterranean Marine Parks, Castellabate, Salerno, Italy, 18-22 Jun 1973, and also served as 'Relatore' at a [?study day or symposium] on industrial pollution, Milan, 15 Jun. At the Congress he delivered a paper on 'The Cilento as a Possible Model for Development of Marine-Terrestrial Natural Reserves and Parks in the Mediterranean'.
