Summary
Dedicated to Sir Philip Sidney, in a Greek acrostic of six lines, the initial letters giving the author's name, Φυγχος. The first part of the tract appears to be the original sketch of the work afterwards published by Sir H. Finch, under the title of Νομοτεχνια; and agrees in outline with the second and third books as they stand in the translation printed in 1636. An address to the reader is prefixed which does not appear in the printed copies.
