Light-brown calf with gold ornament and arms on sides, 17th cent. French work, worm-eaten and repaired.

Acquisition

Apparently acquired between 1613 and 1620.

Provenance

The arms on the 17th cent. binding (a chevron between three Moors' heads) may belong to the family of Moreau.
