Summary
Photocopy of second draft of typescript report entitled 'Government Management Plans' dated 14/12/1975 [62pp], written by Senator Robert Cotton following discussions between himself, the incoming Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser, Sir John Crawford, Gordon Jackson and Eber Lane. The aim of the report was to develop, 'A Government Management Plan with clear lines of responsibility within a system of group management and consultation to achieve stated objectives.' Sent with covering letter dated 01/11/1976 from Adam [Ridley?] to Margaret Thatcher and forwarded to Sir Keith Joseph at her request.
