Includes a press statement made by David Marquand regarding Social Democratic Party (SDP)'s challenge to local Conservative and Labour Parties, David Marquand's handwritten notes, pages of clubs and organisations in High Peak, labelled map of High Peak, papers detailing the outcome of the 1979 High Peak Borough Council election, papers regarding the 1974 election for the Liberal Party, and a paper detailing the High Peak Electorate breakdown.
