Decoration

Rubrication: crude headpieces, simple penwork ornament, titles and initials, variously in brown, purple and vermilion. Fol. 167 has been damaged by fire.

Binding

Binding of blind-stamped brown leather over wood, in late Byzantine style, 15th–16th cent.; the Greek spine is only partially visible owing to repairs; hunting-scene stamps; clasps now missing.
