Diminished copy of a Charter relating to Lacock Abbey.
Along the lower edge of the album page, written in ink, the image is captioned "diminised copy of a Charter at Laycock [sic] Abbey".
On the verso, written in pencil, is a paragraph of text reading, "Diary of Thomas Moore - Aug 18. 1841. Having arranged with Hume to take a short trip with him to Ireland started for Lacock Abbey this morning on my way to town – The day beautiful & I found grouped in full sunshine on the grass before the house Kit Talbot, Lady E Feilding, Lady Charlotte and M[rs] Talbot for the purpose of being photogrized[?] by Henry Talbot who was busily preparing his apparatus."
