File 1, items 1-12: Printed and mimeographed copies of the Mandates for Palestine and Transjordan with a memorandum, observations and a statement by the British Government, Command Papers, the Palestine (Western or Wailing Wall) Order in Council, Palestine Official Gazette statements of policy and two memoranda of 1925 submitted to the Permanent Mandates Commission by the Executive Committee of the Palestine Arab Congress (Item 4), 1922-1931.

File 2, item 1: Report to the High Commissioner for Palestine by Ernest M. Dowson on "Progress in Land Reforms, 1923-1930" with a map, 1930.

File 3, fols. 1-98 and items 1-6: Press cuttings and mimeographed extracts from newspapers about policy in Palestine, 1921-1932.

File 4, items 1-2: "Palestine under the Mandate" by Mrs Philip Snowden, reprint from The Empire Review, and The Palestine Arab Case: Injustice of Present Policy, anonymous, published by the Women's Printing Society, London, n.d.

File 5, fols. 1-165: Correspondence about the Palestine Mandate with Chaim Weizmann, J.H. Thomas, Malcolm MacDonald, W.G.A. Ormsby-Gore, Reginald Coupland and others, 1935-1940.

File 6, fols. 1-29: Material circulated to members of the Permanent Mandates Commission by the Mandates Section secretariat, including a list of the distribution of work between the different members of the Commission and extracts from House of Commons debates, 1935-1936. Also a commentary on the letter from the President of the Jewish Agency for Palestine and the "Memorandum on the Development of the Jewish National Home, 1935" by Weizmann, submitted by the Jewish Agency and containing the observations of His Majesty's Government.

File 7, items 1-17: Similar material, including draft Ordinances, Bills, reprints of articles and the speech of the High Commissioner at the Acre Stock Farm and Agricultural Station, 1935. Also statements of the Palestine Arab Party to the Permanent Mandates Commission and the High Commissioner, a memorandum by M. Shertok on immigration, land and agriculture, the opening statement by the accredited representative at the Permanent Mandates Commission's 29th session discussion of the Palestine annual report for 1935, Weizmann's memorandum, a Resolution by the Palestinian Members of the Zionist General Council of 22 June 1936 on the Arab General Strike, and a memorandum prepared by James Malcolm for Sheik Hafiz Wahba on British Arab and Jewish interests in Palestine and the Near East, 1934-1938.

File 8, fols. 1-43: Newspaper cuttings about the administration and events in Palestine, 1935-1937.
