Summary

The volume contains a programme and acting copy of The River Line with handwritten notes and stage directions. Also included are photographs and hand-drawn pictures of the stage layout. Tucked inside the volume is a photograph signed by the professional portrait photographer, Dorothy Wilding, and a thank you note addressed to Charles Morgan and signed by the cast members of the production, including Pamela Brown, Paul Schofield, Virginia McKenna and Robert Hardy.

Includes: a theatre programme and a draft of Roger Morgan's article that appears at the beginning of the programme; an attendance list and speech compiled by Roger Morgan for an after-show supper; a full list of the cast of the 1952 and 2011 productions; a copy of the legal agreement between Roger and the Jermyn Street Theatre; and a typed document compiling newspaper reviews of the 1952 production.
