Most of which were intended for an unpublished collection, 'Verses [Songs] for Various Occasions', c.1977, including:
(fols. 1-4) three poems [1940s]
(fols. 5-27) manuscript drafts of poems for 'Verses', many of which are in Ann Montgomery's hand
(fols. 30-2) three versions of 'Jubilee Song' [for Philip Larkin]
(fols. 40-89) an untitled, amended typescript of 'Verses'
(fols. 90-123) a carbon typescript, 'Songs for Various Occasions', annotated throughout by Philip Larkin, [1977]
(fols. 124-54) an unamended final typescript version, 'Verses for Various Occasions'. Several of the poems are addressed to Kingsley Amis and Philip Larkin.
