Enid Starkie was a Fellow in French at Somerville Collge and one of its most flamboyant characters. Three letters 1937, on Hodgkin's engagement and marriage, and Somerville affairs. Also included are Memorial Address by Sir Maurice Bowra 1970, and 'Recollections of Enid Starkie' by D. Davin 1971 (draft with corrections).
