Summary
The importance of development is addressed, as well as cooperation between nations. Four projects sponsored by Oxfam are featured. In the Mesquital Valley, Mexico, the local Desmi development organisation helps the Otomi Indians, and Oxfam provides drilling equipment to build an irrigation channel. In Burundi, the Watutsi refugees from Rwanda are helped by the spraying of tsetse flies, experimental plant nurseries, and bee farming. In Hong Kong, the Family Planning Association of Hong Kong is active. In Tanzania, the Ruvumi Development Association supports development through cooperation.
