fols. 1-258: The chief correspondents are John Moir and other members of the African Lakes Company, H.E. O'Neill, Robert Laws and Horace Waller. There are also copies of letters concerning negotiations of the British South Africa Company with the Foreign Office for administration of territories north of the Zambezi involving Harry Johnston, Robert Herbert and Sir Philip Currie.
