Owned by 'Symon Maydeston', i.e. Simon Maidstone, fl. 1445-75, monk of St Augustine's Canterbury; perhaps a mark of personal rather than institutional ownership, so not necessarily indicating ownership by St Augustine's (Barker-Benfield, CBMLC 13, III. pp. 1803, 1862).
John Dee (?): annotations possibly in his hand (Barker-Benfield, CBMLC 13, III pp. 1923-4).
Walter Cope (?): perhaps his number '88' fol. 1r, top centre (ibid. III p. 1803).
