Parts of four leaves (two bifolia) (most of fols. 9, 12 lost)
Hands
Formal anglicana. Ralph Hanna (p. 199) tentatively identified the scribe with the scribe of MS. Rawl. A. 389 (fols. 1-20, 25v-31v, 85-104v) and other manuscripts. Ian Doyle and subsequently Simon Horobin (pp. 30-35) identified that second scribe as John Scriveyn, a professional scribe active around Lichfield.

Spaces left for initials.

Fols. 9-12: acquired 1928. (Bodleian Quarterly Record 5 (1928), p. 321)
Provenance
"Found stiched as a cover to an Elizabethan Rental relating to the Manor of Rotherfield ... two leaves ... and two mutilated portions stitched at the top to make it long enough to cover the Rental" (fol. 13r).
