Conference programme; letter to Edgar Wind by Emily Genauer, May 1953; letter to Edgar Wind by W.H. Auden, Oct 1953, with typescripts of poem 'The Truest Poetry is for the Most Feigning (For Edgar Wind)'; printed version of the poem; newspaper articles relating to Auden and his poetry, 1996. Photocopies only, original papers are in MS. Wind 271 (old box I, 11).
Folder 2: 'Science and Freedom': Correspondence relating to the conference 'Wissenschaft und Freiheit', organised by the Congress for Cultural Freedom, 1953, correspondents including Nicolas Nabokov and Rudolf Pechel; invitation, conference programmes; comments and press cuttings; transcripts of closing remarks, including Edgar Wind's contribution, as published in the conference report, 1954 (in German), and a copy of the English version of the conference Report, 1955.
