Several hands. One hand (perhaps John of Worcester) is also found in Oxford, Corpus Christ College, MS. 157, which appears to be a companion volume to the present MS.

Acquisition
Purchased by the Bodleian in 1671 from Robert Scot, who had purchased part of Hatton's library.
Provenance
Written after 1126, the date of composition of item 10, at Worcester cathedral priory, as established by the connection with Oxford, Corpus Christi, MS. 157.
Early 15th-century parchment label of contents, fol. ii verso, in the style of other Worcester priory books.
'William Rigg' or 'William Rigges', mid-16th century (fol. 1v).
