Collections by, and chiefly written by, the rev. Francis Blomefield (d. 1751) for the city and county of Cambridge. They are voluminous and not orderly. '... Every village in the county alphabetically digested.':

At p. 227a is an original petition from 'Jone Keteryche abbesse of Denneye' 'To the right worschipfull gentilman Paiston executur to sir John Fostolff', complaining of the state of the abbey, dated 31 Jan. (about A.D. 1450 ?). The index to this volume is at p. 1 of MS. Gough Camb. 2.
