Fol. 6. A detailed scheme devised by Thomas Lupton for a general collection towards repairing sea-banks and damages by floods in Lincolnshire, helping the poor in Lincoln, York, Canterbury, and London, and poor scholars at Oxford and Cambridge, erecting free schools in Hertford, Tewkesbury, Ross, Horncastle, Bourne and Market Deeping, etc., preceded by a poem (fol. 5) presenting the petition and scheme to queen Elizabeth. Apparently an original MS., partly at least in Lupton's own handwriting

Fol. 310. A treatise on Church government, with especial reference to the King's power, in eight chapters, in Latin: the first leaf is lost: ends 'rebus omnibus ordinis gratiâ.' Written in James I's reign, and transcribed about the same time
