15th century, second quarter (as MS., Milan, ? for an owner from Bergamo): wood boards; brown leather, blind-tooled with triple lines, stamps, strapwork, and dots (? some once coloured) in elaborate all-over designs, not identical on each cover; spine lost; traces of four clasps with (green?) textile straps, all lost. Rebacked and re-cornered in lighter brown leather with gilt lines and gilt red-leather label, 18th century, Italian. 333–334 221–223 c. 55–56 (book closed).
