Folder 2: Photocopies and transcripts of Joseph Lehmann's letters to Heinrich Heine, Jun 1834, 10 May 1858, 30 Sep 1854, 15 Oct 1854, 3 Dec 1854; correspondence by Konrad Braun with Institut für Deutsche Literatur, Weimar, relating to the Heine letters, 1965-1966; excerpts in Thomas Braun's hand from letters by Heine to, or relating to, Joseph Lehmann; photocopies of published transcripts of Lehmann - Heine correspondence. Also includes two transcripts from articles from Magazin für die Literatur des Auslandes relating to the death of Heinrich Heine, 10 May and 10 Jun 1848.

Folder 3: Photocopies and transcripts (by Thomas Braun) of a selection of letters from and to Lehmann family members, mostly Joseph Lehmann and Felix Lehmann (1851-1914), 1825-1914. Correspondents include: Heinrich Heine, Alexander von Humboldt, Karl August Varnhagen von Ense, Leopold von Ranke, Henriette Herz, Ephraim Beer, Marcus Herz, Carl von Holtei, Adolf Stahr, Fanny Lewald-Stahr, Heinrich Stieglitz, Julius Sybel, Heinrich Schliemann, J.L. Roscher, Johann Georg von Cotta, Johann Gottlieb Fichte, Ernst Haeckel, Leopold Schefer, Bogumil Goltz, Friedrich Hebbel, Hans von Bülow, August Strindberg, Adolf von Menzel, Arthur Nikisch, Anna Lehmann née Friedländer, Arthur Schnabel, Giacomo Meyerbeer, Thomas Mann. The letters were in the possession of Ivo Jarosy (1921-1996), Felix Lehmann's grandson, and were sold by his widow Joan Jarosy at Sotheby's, London, c. 1999.

Folder 4: Materials and correspondence relating to Lehmann family members: Two postcards to Franziska Lehmann, 1891; funeral address for Elisabeth Feig née Lehmann, 1915; 'Das Magazin für Hochzeitsliteratur' newspaper for the wedding of Felix Lehmann and Anna Friedländer, 1892: transcript of play by Felix Lehmann, 'Jugend Wander und Wunderbilder in 4 Abtheilungen zum 6. October 1896', written for the wedding of Johannes Feig and Rose Lehfeldt 1896; letters to and from Anna Lehmann née Friedländer, 1905-1942 and n.d., including letters from and to her mother, her husband Felix Lehmann, and her children Johanna, Dora and Günther. Also includes verse in Anna Lehmann's hand, hand written sheet music 'Drei Lieder', and Anna Lehmann's passport, Gleiwitz, 1921.
