A miscellaneous collection of ecclesiastical papers relating to the diocese of Ely, and especially to the county of Cambridge, from about 1570 to about 1690, consisting largely of:
'Visitation bills', or answers from parishes to queries of the bishop of Ely at his visitations of 1593, 1622, 1638, and 1679
Also of papers relating to wills, inventories and administrations, and to marriage bonds, with other ecclesiastical papers
At fol. 241 is a probate of the will of Thomas Marcham of March, 4 Oct. 1693, on parchment
At fol. 268 a long inventory of the goods of Thomas Bettes of Chatteris, 1579
