Provenance
Douce owned at least five copies of the Roman de la Rose. It is likely that either this manuscript or MS. Douce 332may be identified with the brief entry for March 1806 by Douce ('Guillemeau hist. de la rose... Dulau') in his 'Collecta' (diaries of antiquarian purchases, 1824-1834, MS. Douce e. 68)

Summary
'Cy commence le Rommant de la Rose': the colophon adds 'escript par la main de Jehan Lorin.' The romance is by Guillaume de Lorris and Jean de Meung. At fol. 160 follow in an early 16th cent. hand some 'Rondeaux', partly religious: beg. 'Plus grant plesir ne se pourroyt pauser.'.
