Summary
Fols. 1-49: Original reply by Lugard to the report by Captain Macdonald criticising his conduct of the campaign in Uganda, 1893.
Fols. 50-65: "Case of Captain Macdonald, lodged at the Office (sealed) for use, if necessary, on my return to England", 1893-1895. This was returned to Lugard on 22 August 1895 with the seal intact.
Fols. 66-67: Copy of a letter from Lugard to Sir George Goldie about the Macdonald Report, 1890.
