Summary
Pencil sketches and drafts for unfinished ballad opera, with libretto by Kingsley Amis. Includes annotated typescript copies of words to some numbers. Songs composed Feb-May 1951 according to the composer, before project was halted, but a leaf of the sketches (fol. 1) marked 'Amberley Hall O'ture? (8:7:52)', indicates a later attempt to continue with it.
