Summary
'Poetry Selected and Original, 1788 & 1789', a common-place book of verses, chiefly in the hand of E(liza) Chapman, with additions of 1793 and 1817. Among the writers whose poems are copied are 'Scriblerus' (passim), Burns (fols. 11v, 17), Beattie (fols. 15v, 27), dr. John Langhome (fols. 42, 45, 47v, 52, 54v). Some are by the writer, who seems to have lived at Warminster in 1788 (fols. 17v, 21).
