The writing and illumination might well be English, but the Calendar is French.

On fol. 9 is a coat of arms:--azure, three roses or on a chief of the second, as many roses of the first (perhaps, party per fess or and azure, six roses three and three counterchanged): 'Antonius Menonus' (17th cent. ?).
